From a Steam Deck game guide, step 1 is "make sure the deck is running Windows"...the rest of the instructions are clearly about running it through Proton (so SteamOS).

Welcome to the new internet where site owners are interested in SEO metrics in order to display adverts, but not the site content.

This is just sad.

One of the key titles you can tell it's from a content farm that has no idea what they're talking about:

"Does X run on Steam Deck? - Answered"

Most times websites generate their content just as landing pages aimed at webcrawlers to get higher ranking in SER. It's such a shame.
