When is Strike going to come out with a debit card so that I can start depositing my entire income to Strike and keep it denominated in Bitcoin until I spend it?

i think a debit card is a bad product. why don’t you use your credit cards and use strike to buy BTC and then pay bills when they’re due?

credit cards have better rewards and you get to spend fiat without owning any. much better imo

xapo has a shit hot product, and the best customer service i have experienced in a decade

nice (assuming shit hot is a good thing).

i can’t use xapo, im american

Haven't renounced your citizenship, yet?

yeah, they are good.. i keep my stack elsewhere but they are brilliant

nice. what makes them good?

they didn't enforce my KYC strictly, just passed it based on GPS and i haven't changed it and they don't care and the support people were very sympathetic

i was all ready to go back to the old ways and get a romanian neobank account but i skated right past because of them

i mean, you could be cynical about it but i'm still not in a cage so i think it's good

That would be a workaround I suppose.

I was a big fan of the Shift debit card though before Coinbase got rid of it several years ago. I was unemployed at the time and had a family to support, so I ended up spending about $15k worth of Bitcoin with that Visa card in 2016. I would just deposit sats to Coinbase every couple weeks and then I could swipe that Visa card anywhere and Coinbase would just liquidate some Bitcoin from my account to cover the USD charge.

I get 1 percent Bitcoin back in rewards

and no strike in Canada

Cash App lets you do this with their debit card and you pay no fees for BTC
