#[0] got me thinking about where I buy my BTC (it’s KYC), wanting to learn about more privacy practices and the benefits of Non-KYC. Is it worth the hassle? Or no? Thoughts?
Any resource recommendations?

My take is:
I think bitcoin won't easily be accepted by countries, and governments. I think for this, they have to give up their control over money.
Hard money can lead to prosperity in my opinion. As there were also prosperity in countries which at earlier time adopted the gold standard.
In my opinion, Govs don't want to give up fiat, because that would leave them with less powers. And usually people with power insists to their power. This means, they want keep their power. In this case, they only have 1 solution as stopping bitcoin.
One way of stopping/slowing bitcoin is, punishing people who owns bitcoin (like it was with unvaxed). In this case, it is less optimal to have KYC-ed bitcoin, because due to kyc, they know you have bitcoin.
The other problem could be surveillance. As the blockchain is transparent, if you know an address, you can track its spending. So basically KYC-ed bitcoin could be used to track your purchases, as they can with your bank account.
I think the second one is the hugest issue. The first might be there, might not be.
Cheers 🍻
