You’re talking about two different paradigms, their end goal is profit, our end goal is freedom.

We don’t need to convince anyone that it isn’t a scam, you just have to open your eyes, people utilize it every day for a multitude of reasons.

for most people, it has to start with profit. freedom, censorship resistance, sovereignty, etc all that comes later. you can’t throw someone into the deep end of the rabbit hole. you start with number go up, and if they stick around, they’ll see the rest.

Okay?

I’m simply pointing out that one does not have to do with the other. People that are being ripped off, are the ones in it for profit. Bitcoin proves it is not a scam every time someone uses it.

As silly as #zaps are, it’s a perfect example of this.

Scam Bankman-Fried is the poster child for why people should be careful with Bitcoin & Crypto. The point is there are bad people out there who will take advantage of you if you let them. Choose wisely!

You don’t need a poster child, just a bit of common sense, there is risk with any investment. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My point is, if profit is your endgame then you may very well feel ripped off if you’re not making any.

Bitcoiners value freedom first, and while that doesn’t mean we can’t make mistakes, our motivation isn’t based in profit so we are able to see value where others may not.
