It's the cheapest one per ounce. Grocery stores in Washington state only sell cage free eggs, by law. Eggs are a staple in our home. Before covid a box of 5 dozen eggs was under $5, everyday, now they are over $22. 😱

Eggs went up over here during covid and the shops rationed them to a dozen each, with no sensible explanation... the chickens were still laying. Then they claimed bird flu despite having kept the hens indoors for over a year, three years later the inflation caught up and now we are not allowed to keep chickens without informing the government.
