Used a recurve for archery it will fatigue you faster. Maybe a simple compound bow and its nice because theres a sweet spot where the power kinda sits and you can hold it with little effort until you let go.

Above all get a wrist guard or you will not enjoy the experience

I know i need a wrist guard from the beginning because these wrists have been through some real shit and must be protected at all costs. Also protection for fingers was on my mind, and a shoulder? Do i need that?

Simple compound was what I was looking at, good to know I’m on the right track

I personally found finger guards “numbing”, i like the feel of the bow but I was not doing more than 50 shots per session. As for shoulder I am not familiar.
