Yeah, his main point was Palestine is a place—>people have been living there for hundreds of years—> you having the same religion as people from thousands of years ago doesn’t give you ownership to occupy land and displace a people—> Israel of OT is not the same thing as the current state of Israel
Yes and I understand why he chose to avoid discussing that. The devil is in the details and a lot of toes get stepped on when these type of things get pointed out. He likes to keep his talking points within the bounds of his personal experiences. Going further back than that leaves you open to be accused of all types of nonsense.
