I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think NIP-57 zaps can support comments in the invoice. This is because NIP-57 requires us to set the description_hash field of a bolt11 invoice which prevents us from setting the description to any arbitrary string. I think, anyway. Haven’t totally dug into it yet.
Looks like it works somehow. The top screenshot is my notification in Damus. The bottom one is how it came in on LN.tips in telegram. The ♋️ hows as an additional comment

Got it .. just tried it out myself with ln.tips. They are storing the comment outside of the invoice itself. So, we’re both right :D. You can’t set a comment in the bolt11 invoice when doing NIP-57, but it is possible to create some out of band way of making the comment visible to the recipient. I’ll have to sit on that and think about how to implement in Bitcoin Jungle wallet…we don’t have any mechanism to fit that into today.

reproducible "bug" steps:
If i changed from bitcoinjungle to alby on my alby extension, then it shows up. If i go back to bitcoin jungle, it doesn't. my zaps to ln.tips show up but BJ->BJ don't.
So: snort.social with alby & bitcoinjungle wallet -> bitcoinjungle wallet = zap not reported on post.
Known issue with zaps from Bitcoin Jungle to Bitcoin Jungle. Our current implementation is listening to lnd for invoice updated events. Bitcoin Jungle to Bitcoin Jungle is an intraledger transfer and never hits lnd. Gonna have to wait for the upstream (Galoy) to give us some hooks to listen for intraledger payments.
