There are early signs of de-escalation.

Iran announced that the attack is in response to Israel’s strike on Iran’s consulate in Syria and that they consider the matter concluded unless Israel retaliates.

But I have no idea if they will or not, so we will see.

Unfortunately I suspect Israel will strike back. They bombed Iran's consulate intentionally to expand the war and draw America in directly. This all seems highly calculated on their part.
