Inkscape is awesome! I convinced work into using it, with the help of a couple of coworkers.
It took years of me spitting out drawings that looked more professional than what others were doing with licensed products.

New #GrowNostr t-shirts available for anyone who helps me make my dream of getting out of banking and going full-time #Nostr education a reality. Designed by hand by yours truly!
The icons at the base of the roots represent the foundations of the Nostr protocol: public/private key-pairs, clients, and relays.
Had to learn Inkscape to design these, because I absolutely refuse to touch an Adobe product that I have to pay a subscription for.
They're available at my new nostr:npub1market6g3zl4mxwx5ugw56hfg0f7dy7jnnw8t380788mvdyrnwuqgep7hd store and on my nostr:npub1kmwdmhuxvafg05dyap3qmy42jpwztrv9p0uvey3a8803ahlwtmnsnhxqk9.fund project page, and if purple shirts aren't your thing, they also come in black, a couple shades of gray, and a natural cream color.

I was really impressed! I will definitely be using it a lot more.
Have you gone over wny of the built in tutorials?
That's probably the best way to learn the basics to intermediate.
It actually has a lot of the same functionality as Illustrator or Affinity Design, so I just had to get accustomed to where most of what I was looking for lives within the app.
I will definitely take a peek at the tutorials, though.
