It is believed that at least 200 people are being held hostage by Hamas. The Israeli military says that it has spoken with the families of 199 hostages. Meanwhile, Hamas claims it has 200, while 50 more hostages are being held by other Palestinian terror groups. 2 days ago
The Shayetet 13 troops killed more than 60 Palestinian terrorists in the Sufa post, and in the towns of Be'eri, Kfar Aza, Sa'ad, Mefalsim and Nir Oz, and rescued some 250 hostages, according to the IDF. 4 days ago
But people first reported different numbers of hostages
According to the IDF they got them all but it was only half?
I'm confused here.......
If I took hostages I would certainly split them up into small groups....
But with conflicting information like that - people might wonder if it's not Israel lies then question everything else
That's already happening actually
(Essentially this is all delayed reactions anyway)
Hamas Said:
(Yesterday)
Abu Obaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades
prisoners count ranges between 200 and 250 prisoners, with Al-Qassam currently holding 200 prisoners.
We keep a diverse group of individuals currently under temporary custody, hailing from different nationalities. These individuals are considered our esteemed guests, and our primary goal is to ensure their safety.
Well ofc they're going to keep them safe - they have no leverage of they don't
But it still doesn't add up - it's like do you have 200 or 250?
And why did the IDF say they rescued 250?
Wtf are you people even doing?!
If your group has 200 how do you know the other 50 exist?
