Let's imagine a better future. This doesn't consist in making stuff up, but in recalling to mind what we already know to be good. It isn't done only by speaking, but by doing and being. It isn't done according to our designs, but according to God's. It isn't accomplished by the effort of our own labor, but by God's work in us. We are not the architects of a better future — through hope we are the product of it.
