What's the difference?
Record podcast one records one person.
Record room works for the entire room. Just always default to room. 😄

If I make the guests mods then they can record locally too right?
Yes.
I record from my MacBook and have a backup recording on my PC next to me. If I have any audio issues I can always refresh my laptop and the backup is still rolling.
