While this is not an excuse I think part of the reason is because many “big name” bitcoiners are pretty toxic against contrarian opinions so regular bitcoiners get afraid to express or even think them.

From what I’ve noticed there’s a massive ego issue among bitcoiner devs who think much less of you if you’re not a developer. Some even say you must contribute in developer capacity to have a credible opinion. If this is how any startup operated, there wouldn’t be nearly as many great products because there are always multiple stakeholders in shaping a product and its usage.
