💡Controversial opinion💡
I think we shall spread bitcoin without telling it is bitcoin.
Why?
* BTC has bad reputation because of crypto
* BTC has bad reputation because of price volatility
* Anyway most people only care about utility, and not how things works.
So maybe we could have:
* new PayPal, Revolut, Wise app, that works with zaps at the backend
* you can topup your wallet with fiat, that is shown as fiat in wallet, but stored as btc
* you can withdraw fiat from wallet
* you can use the app as a lightning wallet
* put that it is a btc app in EULA that noone reads anyway... So we don't lie to anyone. Anyway we don't even know how banks and these payment apps hold our money...
I think this way, people would use it more.
A big unsolved problem for this idea in my opinion is the volatility. Because if we show money in fiat, instead of btc, it will change in value. So we need a way to have less or no volatility. I think @calle had an idea to solve volatility issue with futures maybe?
