ASIC issues warning against crypto exchange Bitget for operating without an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence. Bitget offered high-leverage futures (up to 125:1) to Australians, bypassing protections. This follows similar action against Binance Australia Derivatives. Bitget has faced international regulatory scrutiny since 2022.
