It's a 32 byte string. These are mindbogglingly big numbers. It's very secure as long as you keep your nsec secure.

you do not have it in a browser extension like alby or nos2x ?

Alby seems to store it safely.

It could potentially be a way for your nsec to get compromised, but I think it's unlikely.

browsers are never safe. easy to steal

Well if you're using a browser client like Iris, your nsec is just stored in a cookie anyway. 🤷‍♂️
