Had to google the artist John Ahearn. I came across an article with the title "whose Art is it ". In general, it's about the debate on what art in public spaces should look like. It's about representation and confrontation. Interesting read.
Found a few of his sculptures online and I am impressed. It simply depicts people and normalizes that a biography that is “controversial” is not an exclusion criterion in art. The opposite is the case. His dignified treatment of people also makes his art shine. A little sentimental ☺️but great. Thanks for the submission. 🙏🏽
