After two decades, Defence finally sells prime Sydney land for $44m
The sale of 18 plots of land in the inner-city suburb of Haberfield brought in more than $44 million on Thursday. The government first subdivided the plot in 2003 to auction off, but concerns about flooding held up the sale and it's taken decades to address concerns about the site.
