I’m reading this book 📖 of memories of Lidija Lasmane, a brave Latvian who was incarcelated 3 times by soviets and spent several years in Siberia.

It’s a really interesting and impressive read, especially after visiting the Corner House, the old Riga’s KGB building where she was held and interrogated.

I’m about halfway through and it’s already touched me deep.
