My cat is still with the emergency vets. He's been lethargic and not big on eating for a few days but this morning was green puke.

I've paid $1700 up front and it still might cost me more depending on the issue and whether or not he perks up before he's been there for 12 hours.

I feel your pain. Hope your chihuahua feels much better soon.

Hope your cat comes home well soon!

Thanks. I about to call the vet to try to get some info because I left him there four hours ago and haven't heard from him.

Unless he eats and shows the vets he's feeling better in the next few hours, he will be in overnight that will increase the bill by $400-600...

If in the morning he's still not well and hasn't eaten, I may have to transfer him to my local vet for further studies. There was no bowel obstruction or issues in blood but multiple issues with his kidneys and enlarged lymph nodes. Apparently, that could indicate cancer, or could simply be because he was dehydrated then put on fluids for a few hours before they ran the ultrasound. He's 9 and Raggies can live til 15 so I'm hoping that it's the fluids.

He ate but because he didn't pee at all they x-rayed him overnight and found small but lots of kidney stones. So he's staying longer because they have a cat specialist team there. They will call me at lunch time and suggest the best plan. Be it surgery or some other kind of management.

Hope both of your pets are home well soon πŸ«‚
