If we’re right about Bitcoin, there are two things we need to be thinking about very seriously over the next few years. One is defending our families against state-level extortion attacks. The other is what kind of world we want to create when we get a seat at the grown up table.

Very good point. I think anyone holding bitcoin should be preparing for it to be illegal ( at least for some time ) in your country so prepare in how you stack, how you hold it to keep that corn secure til we come out the other end of the tunnel .
You mean to tell me the power establishment behind the entire world economy isn’t gonna just be like “ok bitcoin is the money now” and hand off the baton to a bunch of computers run by plebs?
What if they don’t want to hear about #bitcoin?
