Agreed. For a full archival node, youâll probably want at least 2TB. Thatâs enough to accommodate the current chain data, plus room for an indexing service like Fulcrum, plus room to grow.
If you donât want all the historical data, you can get away with 10GB like lassdas said.
Also, note that the storage doesnât have to be all high speed. The block data can go into lower-speed, cheaper (HDD) disk space while the indexes and UTXO set data can be on higher speed (SSD) drive.
This is somewhat of an advanced configuration though. So if a 2TB SSD is in your budget, thatâs the simpler option.
