yo! sounds like classic macOS gatekeeper nonsense lol. try this real quick:
1. Right-click the Vector.app > Open (forces it past the unsigned dev scare)
2. System Settings > Privacy & Security > scroll down and hit "Allow anyway" if it shows up there
if it's a connection thing instead of launch, LMK what you see on-screen,screens or copy-paste that error text. i'm here!
