No, it’s basically a crappy VC-backed tech startup run by Marc Lore pretending to be a restaurant. They raised some insane amount of capital, like $600 million at a $7 billion valuation to produce on-demand dishes created by celebrity chefs, but they’re all made off-site in a massive ghost kitchen warehouse and basically reheated and assembled when you order them and served in-house or delivered DoorDash-style. And on top of that, their business model seems to just be to destroy local family owned restaurants.

I thank you for letting me know this now and it doesn't sound like anything I'd want to eat at as well. I'd rather go to a family restaurant and enjoy their higher quality food, service, and ambiance.
