Again, it’s the same situation, by a lawyer, an attempt to test/trick Jesus (Yeshua) they wanted Him to fail (by the Laws).
So He directed them back to YHWH/YHVH (Yahweh/Yehovah)’s Law, for he is the God of this world.
Jesus (Yeshua) came to fulfil the Law.
He had to follow it of a “t”.
In the temptation He was tested again, but he threw the Law back and stood by it.
Why?
There is a deed for humanity in Revelation.
Only one has the right to take it.
Why?
So in your view, is Jesus not the Son of YHWH? Nor YHWH Himself? (I know that looks weird to non-trinitarians)
Firstly, lets not forget that Jesus said they do NOT know His [Abba] Father:
“You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”
- John 8:19
"If you had known me, you would have known my Father also."
- John 14:7
"No one has ever seen God"
- John 1:18
"No one has ever seen God"
- 1 John 4:12
Secondly, Jesus taught them how to pray in a very specific way - which has more meaning than we may have originally thought;
And he said to them,
“When you pray, say:
“Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread,
and forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And lead us not into temptation.”
- Luke 11:2–4
