A right-sided deviant can conflate correct with sinister simply because both oppose his errancy, and vice versa:

Let your eyes look forward,

Your gaze be straight ahead.

אַֽל־תֵּט־יָמִ֥ין וּשְׂמֹ֑אול הָסֵ֖ר רַגְלְךָ֣ מֵרָֽע׃ {פ}

Do not swerve to the right or the left;
