i'm also currently as for all of my programming career plagued by writing code that has extremely stealthy bugs that show up after i think i finally got it working... again™️
That's why I'm a unit test junkie. Regressions are the thing that makes me want to tear my hair out and they are incredibly common and the connections are sometimes bizarre.
yeah, i'm getting better at that... and trying to be more methodical, really thoroughly test the test, before moving to another thing
