yeah you have to use a delivery service like ses...biggest benefit imo is that you're not storing subscriber list with anyone
also it deploys easily, needs virtually no maintenance, and is actively developed
imo those are necessary to meeting your least shitty and "most bitcoiner" criteria but of course that is a matter of opinion, not sure exactly what your requirements are
