you most likely had the web of trust friend filter on at the top right of notifications (purple icon). it turns off notifications from people you don't follow.

After trying to figure out what was going on and failing to find a solution, I switched to nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0aet9lm and I have to say it’s pretty damn good…
I still want to support Damus but it doesn’t seem like there is any solution to the notification issue, so I guess I’m going to switch over permanently due to lack of options…
How amazing that I can just switch clients when one isn’t working for me, and my account is right there, no serious issues or pain, just dl a new app and I’m back up and running…
