indeed, that new light just doesn’t hit as hard as the green auto-el
my world time “casio royale” does everything this new updates one does (ability to switch b/w world times fast, display time in other screens), so i’m happy
for now 😬
Casio has updated this model. 5610U. Tempted to buy one (not keen on the new light though).

Love them. I had the original back in the 80s but no idea where it went.
Just bought the updated one. Changed my mind about the light. Looking back at the 1983 model, its light was also an LED mounted at the side - sort of a nod to the past so I quite like that. Looking forward to picking it up soon. It’s a classic watch that every collector should own…
