My Grandfather was a physicist and Aerospace engineer and, along with my grandmother (6mts pregnant with my mother), he took a 2 month boat journey from the UK to Australia to expand into new opportunities and be a part of teams sending people to explore space. They didn’t know if they would ever see their family again and at that time anyone with Irish heritage wasn’t exactly welcome. Not quite as unknown as the early US settlers but as their granddaughter this episode really resonated with me. In comparison the unknowns of Bitcoin and cyber space are relatively comfortable and less life-threatening, appreciate the perspective🧡
