Always wanted to try Vexl but no chance.
Vexl is just not used around where I am.
People here usually have fully kyced-simcards and won’t share their Vexl-Identity connected to their real phone-number.

I don't think it matters. Vexl does not see trades. The phone number is used for discovery of social graph, which would give you away even when the numbers were not kyced. Social graph is basically like a fingerprint anyway.
The point is, the trades do not happen on Vexl and they have no idea who trades what with who.
If it is not used, just start. When everyone opens it and they don't see it, just add your first request and keep it there. Organizing a Bitcoin meetup and talking about Vexl is also a good idea. with network effects, it spreads fast. a few meetups with 10 min onboarding sessions is all you need. you will not trade with everyone anyway, onboard the superspreaders.
