20 days into running the headwaters of the Amazon River we hit this 13-mile section of stout class V rapids, I'll never forget the feeling of dropping into this rapid! We had camped above it for the night so we were thinking/dreaming about this line for a good 13 hours. The next morning we downed a quick coffee and some quinoa and packed our gear back into the stern of our kayaks.
