I'm having trouble zapping. Sometimes my zaps go thru fine, sometimes they take a long time to show up, at least on my end, where i can see that I zapped. Other times i see the purple circle going, like its working, then nothing. Any ideas? I use amethyst with alby.
Same here, but at alby extension you see all zaps sent
I recently cleared amethyst cache to resolve some zapping issues. From Android > settings> apps> amethyst > clear cache.
I have better luck verifying a zap in Alby than I do in most of the clients for what that is worth.
Tried zapping you just now and it says you dont have a lightning address.
That is weird. I've gotten lots of zaps from other people. Thanks for trying.
Just tried again, and i get the same msg that "user does not have a lightning address". Not sure why.
I wonder how many other zaps I've missed. I've always been able to zap and I've gotten zaps, but I don't get them every day. Maybe I've had a problem and not known it.
I wonder if it is because I don't have lightning on my phone and you were zapping a post from my phone. I mostly use my laptop because I hate typing on my phone, but I occasionally post a picture I took on my phone on Amethyst on my phone so I don't have to transfer it or email it to my laptop. Maybe if you zap that post it fails. That is the only thing I can think of. I normally always have alby and multiple clients open and setup on my laptop.
Maybe so, and some of the clients are still buggy sometimes. Recently my zaps werent going thru, but that seems to have resolved itself, and I think it was an alby issue. I use amethyst and alby almost always now, since other clients have been more buggy, so I dont know.
Alby is custodial so it depends on their servers working. I usually notice this during zapathons :)
