-THE BORACAY ISLAND LIFE-

In the '60s, Patty Boyd had worked as a model and actress, and her career took a turning point when she was cast to play a schoolgirl in Richard Lester's musical comedy "A Hard Day's Night" (1964), with The Beatles. The case changed her life and made one of the most influential figures in rock music, allowing her to meet George Harrison. Coincidences are not random.
After two years, a wedding. George was not the only famous musician to draw inspiration from her. Eric Clapton, one of Harrison's best friends, also fell in love with Patty, dedicating much of Derek and Domino's album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" (1970), which expressed his forbidden love for her.
Boyd and Harrison split in 1977, although she confessed that George was her greatest love, Patti had a short relationship with Ronnie Wood (she responded to George's many infidelities), the future guitarist of the Rolling Stones. In 1979 she married Eric Clapton, but that marriage also ended after ten years of living together.
