Have you ever tried to use public transit
I rode the bus to work one city over for ~9 months. It was magical. I got so much reading done. I made bus friends. I saved so much money and time. Then they removed my bus stop due to "low ridership" and I went back to sitting in my car in traffic on the highway.
Transit is awesome when done right. Unfortunately, my entire continent does it wrong except for a few urban areas. EVs do not fix this, it is a failure of government.
The train is a whole different story
we have that on the right here, but also allow cars

Haven't owned a car since 2018. I get by cycling and using the train just fine, and the money I save in gas and insurance all goes to BTC
