I hodl for humility. II trade for sport against the performance of the hodl bag. Some days it beats me and some days I am up. It has scale on its side but the hard way, the dangerous way, the Raider way, gets bananas returns. hahaha.
humility, hushimility. never trade against fiat, i agree. humanity needs better entry opportunities. dca is tradition but the youth will require greater odds or they wont play the bitcoin accumulation game we are playing. if we have to accept the current regime of whales as the new world order bitcoin is a failure.
There are whales in every competitive space. has something to do with entropy but easier to understand as an ocean full of competing organisms. The inventors of the modern stock market were whalers, fishermen and seamen of all sorts. They built their understanding of working the sea into into the syntax of finance.
Whales arent good or bad. Just whales. They are handy though cuz when they move the fish move too. set the nets. catch the fish. dont let the whale turn on you.
When the dust settles from the tradfi calamity that is about to go down. ill see who didnt eat their own. I will teach some irl survivors how to fish if things get too bad. Can't teach raiding but fishing is easy. Accumulate with partial TP and scaled entries on pullbacks. Keep some capital dry for deep discounts. Killer whales arent whales they are Orca. Basically giant murder dolphins with a PR team. Their hunting patterns mirror the way that media and price action coordinate to ball the food up for easy consumption. the retails (fish) get excited and clump into one area or the other and the orca pod just picks them off at leisure. Then they rest. then they move to new area. may raid a dolphin pod here and there (alts). Makes fishing possible once you understand it. Will lose all money if you dont know about the ways of the whales.
