Is it possible for relays to remove me and I wouldn’t know?

Mute is different than relay removal 😆
Relays can block you. You might notice if your client suddenly can't post to that relay, but otherwise won't get notified. I don't think relays would block you from reading, but you can test against this through a VPN.
Anyway, to find people you need to share at least one relay, some clients don't always check all relays you have saved either, it can be pot luck sometimes.
