These HC are more useful for poor new users that cannot afford an onchain UTXO. I saw many lately that are complaining about not having enough funds to open new channels but want to start receiving on LN. And the situation is getting more and more desperate.

Regular old bitcoiners don't really need them, they know how to manage with classic methods.
