I also do everything manually and haven’t hit 1 million sats yet, but that’s coming soon. For comparison, I’m now earning an average of 1k sats per day, making about 8-10 posts per day, which is roughly 100 sats per note on average. That’s about 30k per month. Compared to other social networks, it’s still low for the number of followers. On TikTok, for example (with a 22k follower account), I make $230 to $280 per day with TikTok Shop, but there are some caveats since I’ve lost a few accounts, etc. Anyway, I see great potential in Nostr and I’m grateful for you sharing your performance. Appreciate it.

Wow, those TikTok numbers are impressive. I still have trouble wrapping my head around just how many people are able to earn a modest income doing such things. Must be cut throat out there

TikTok Shop is great for making quick money, but YouTube remains the king of social media. YouTube scales incredibly over time. The problem with TikTok is that you can lose your account or get demonetized at any moment, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Interesting, wasn't sure where things stood today, and it's only recently hitting me how big a market influencing is (I've never used TikTok and not much other than Twitter before this).

I believe Nostr will perform like YouTube but with some monetization improvements. There’s no shadowban, a more qualified and niche audience, and the advantage of being decentralized, so you won’t lose monetization on certain content for violating specific policies. Plus, Nostr has the potential to be a WeChat, likely surpassing all other social networks because it’s extremely easy and satisfying to log into any site using NIP-07.
