He’s really hell bent in this huh. It’s not just influencers, btw…

It’s normal everyday people already using sats peer-to-peer and telling their friends. But sure, dismiss overwhelming valid criticism as just “influencers.”

Jack is the one trying to influence against a massive wall of resistance from industry, builders, and plebs

Yeah I really don't get the push.

It's also not just "influencers"... Can you imagine CNBC and the rest of the nocoiner public just accepting this?

It would be a huge embarrassment, "oh those fake money people now want their fake money piles to look bigger, hurf durf durf..."

We need a complete taxonomy of Bitcoin:

1 sat = sat

10 sats = dime

100 sats = cent (pronounced cench)

1000 sats = thou (pronounced thau)

10,000 sats =

100,000 sats =

1,000,000 sats = mille

10,000,000 sats =

100,000,000 sats = bitcoin

So you are saying Jack is the right kind of influencer who has validity and weight in the “for ₿its” argument? I love the guy for his contributions to our community, I love Square/Block, I find value in his viewpoints and will always respect that. I disagree with changing Sats 丰 to ₿its at this stage of the blockchain, mainly due to its being unnecessary; a confusing exercise in semantics, which seems to divide our diverse community as almost an own goal. Both names are catchy, and I use ₿itties in a slangy reference when I am feeling witty, like “the ₿itties will bounce”.
