I agree, 30 years ago USA has pressed Ukraine to get rid of its nukes, strategic bombers, ballistic/cruise missiles etc. in exchange for fake security assurances, thus enabling an invasion in 2022.

However, no matter how true, at this point your statement is simply not useful. Iranian/chinese/russian ballistic missile won't selectively spare you because you happen to have USA gov, to put it simply.
