I use duckduckgo instead google search. Think it's as good as startpage, isn't it?

(Even there is duckduckgo standalone browser for Android)

And I use Brave Browser (sometimes together with Orbot) instead Google.

There was a controversy with duckduckgo, some kind of censorship but I don't remember the details

Yea CEO of duckduckgo is pro censorship. I think they wanted censor during covid too. Stick with brave and startpage.

Oops, I didn't know about it. Let's switch to startpage.

Btw: Brave has an own search engine too as a default in Brave browser.

Yea brave is my default for desktop I use their search. Results are good enough most times
