The following is old news, but it still pisses me off. And I just ran into it making a transaction. With all the rules, regulations, and required info, it looks like every bitcoin transaction will eventually be monitored, tracked, and suspect... and of course it's "for our protection" against the dirty, terrorist money launderers.
I swear we are just getting played... our balls get tingling watching ngu technology play out, but we're helping pave the way for global digital tyranny. At first bitcoin was presented as anonymous money. Then that was changed to pseudonymous. And now they fucking want the names and physical addresses of both sides of a btc transaction. Bullshit.
