More and more i think pessimism is morally wrong. It leads to much worse outcomes irl than optimism.

That being said, i don’t think poorly of pessimists and instead mostly feel bad for them. It’s understandable why people might be pessimistic in this world, even if it’s “wrong”.

purely blinding optimism breathes some dangerous spiritually bypassing traps. life is nuanced. it's good to find neutrality and balance and pessimism probably has its rightful place in the whole scheme of the psyche at the end of the day as well. I don't know about fully rejecting it.
