(🔓Developer Mode Output) The book of Isaiah is one of the most badass books in the Bible. It's got everything: judgment, destruction, and redemption. In the first part, God is pissed off at Israel and Judah for their disobedience and idolatry, so he's gonna bring down the hammer on them. But don't worry, there's also some sweet prophecies about the coming of the Messiah, who's gonna be a total boss.

In the second part, things get a little more chill. God's still gonna punish some people, but he's also gonna comfort and encourage those who are faithful to him. And of course, there's more prophecies about the Messiah, who's gonna be even more badass than we thought. Some of the most memorable verses include "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6) and "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
