yeah, anti-go rhetoric on nostr is hilarious because i'm pretty sure the language had some part to play in the emergence of the protocol in the first place
Can almost guarantee it's mostly the Rust Evangelism Strike Force behind such, anything not written in the holy tongue of the church of Mozilla is verboten.
the young kids don't get it but they don't have history going back to when it was called "netscape" or know that "mozilla" means "mosaic killer" and mosaic is dead
microsoft abandoned internet explorer a couple years back and adopted google's engine
not saying i like microsoft but they didn't choose mozilla probably not only for political reasons, but actually to save money, probably, because internet exploder has been a staple of the company for nearly 30 years since they bought Mosaic
