Always have had #gimp installed for when I had no Photoshop license through a day job.

If I were starting now, I'd skip Adobe all together and go total #FOSS

I use it as a tool for converting pixel-based drawings into vector-based images. I'll use this process for a variety of projects. It's been extremely useful to me since I found out about it a few years ago.
