Currently spinning Bill Evans’ Portraits at the Penthouse. This was a recent Record Store Day pickup and my first Bill Evans album. I knew he played keys on Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue, but after reading the liner notes and revisiting his history, I realized he did far more for jazz piano than I expected. Really glad I picked this one up.
